TAMMY HALL QUINTET WITH LISA FERRARO

A truly versatile pianist, Tammy Hall's own compositions, arrangements and improvisational style are always crowd pleasers. Tammy's impressive accompanist skills make her a top choice for many well-known singers. And Tammy is equally gifted in Jazz, Classical, Gospel, Latin and R&B. Her major influences include Tania Maria, Beethoven, Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Mary Lou Williams, Joe Sample and Thelonious Monk. Tammy brings virtuosity to the piano that is never ostentatious, and her approach to the music is always genuine and fresh.

Tammy brings her soulful and contemporary treatment to a variety of jazz, R&B and blues standards. Given Tammy's background in gospel, classical and blues it's no surprise that her latest CD, Blue Soul is a testament to the evolution of the blues, the foundation of jazz and the many facets and moods it creates and evokes.
