"Easy Virtuosity" featuring Andrius Zlabys
Grammy-nominated pianist Andrius Zlabys, has received international acclaim for his appearances with many of the worlds leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, Rotterdam Symphony, and Philharmonic Orchestra of Buenos Aires.
Born in Lithuania and trained at the Curtis Institute of Music, Zlabyss artistry has received numerous accolades from the press in the U.S. and Europe, including the The New York Times, which called his playing tasteful, communicative and utterly absorbing, and The Strad, which stated: His easy virtuosity is a wonder. The Philadelphia Inquirer once said of his performance of Bach, "... you couldn't escape the notion that the pianist was acting as Bachs ventriloquist ...."
Zlabys showcases his multi-faceted talents with an elegant program that travels gracefully from Bach to Beethoven and finishes with Prokofiev.
