Zoe Mulford 333 Concert
Zoe Mulford is a folk singer and songwriter who has had a successful career in both America and Britain (where she has lived on and off for some years).
Zoe is an engaging performer, using banjo, guitar, a strong and sweet voice, a thoughtful way with words, and a lively sense of humor. Her songs can be introspective or light-hearted. Perhaps her most famous (as of 2018, anyway) is "The President Sang Amazing Grace," about the 2015 Charleston church shooting, which was performed and recorded by Joan Baez.
333's former host Janie Meneely has this to say about Zoe: "I never get tired of her songs. She is a songsmith whose lyrics are full of surprises: humor, pathos and damn good storytelling."
We have been trying for a few years to bring Zoe to 333, and we're thrilled to present her this fall. Please join us to hear this talented artist!
333 Coffeehouse is Annapolis' monthly listening space for folk and acoustic music. Inexpensive hot and cold beverages, desserts and snacks are offered. 333 is listener-centered, volunteer powered, non-profit, and smoke- and alcohol-free. 333 is a program of the Annapolis Traditional Dance Society.
