Dr. Rima S. Ash is the Movement Disorder specialist at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco. Having completed a fellowship in movement disorders such as Parkinsons disease, Essential Tremor, and Dystonia, Dr. Ash has extensive training in using deep brain stimulation and Botulinum toxin. At Kaiser, she works with a multidisciplinary team of specialists that focus on the surgical treatment of movement disorders and chose this sub-specialty because of the complexity of diagnosis, and because of the enormous progress that has been made in the treatment of these disorders. Dr. Ash has a Board certification in Neurology with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
