***ADDITIONAL INFORMATION***
WANT TO DO AN ENERGY/HOOK PULL? There are many different reasons to people want to explore a pull. The reasons extend from wanting a pure adrenaline or endorphin rush, to conquering ones fears, to trying to reach a new level of spiritual consciousness. People do energy/hool pull to attain some sort of experience: a deeper sense of themselves, a spiritual encounter, or a letting go not being complete inside their body. Some are looking to take control over their bodies, or are seeking to prove to themselves that they can live beyond the physical, perhaps disconnect from their bodies completely. Finally, some simply seek to explore the unknown. What will be your reason to experience a Energy/Hook Pull?We are set up this up for the outdoors amongst nature: trees, water, mountains including next to a fire as well.
WHAT IS A ENERYG/HOOK PULL? Pulling is a form of flesh hook play where the participant(s) use their own strength and weight to put pressure on the Flesh Hook(s), offering a very different feeling then a suspension since the participant has much more control over what is happening (this is both good and bad, depending on what the goal is). Most pullings are simply two people pulling against each other with two hooks in their backs, but limitless options are exercised everything from a single person pulling a car across a parking lot to a dozen people in a star pattern, all pulling against each other from a central hub. Note that solo pulling is also possible, with one end of the rope attached to a solid object. Theoretically, there is no limit. In circular (star) pulling, five, six, or more people pulling at once is certainly possible. Usually, a large group of people perform a pulling by having each member of the pull connected to one central point or ring. With great attention paid to the dynamics of the rigging, it would be advised to form a circle with a central steel circular frame. This is the center point where all the ropes would originate from leading out to everyone in the circle (the ropes form a star). This position allows for any number of people to participate. Pulling is typically done with between one, two, or four hooks per person. Using more than six or so hooks per person could limit the experience and take away from what could be an amazing and enlightening experience. Depending on which type of pulling is to be performed and how many hooks are used in the pulling, the placement of the hooks can be the same or different that the placement of hooks for a suspension. For example, if someone is pulling with hooks in their back, the placement would resemble that of a suicide suspension. The hooks must be placed in a direction so that the hook will not come out during the pulling. Normally, this is done with either a locking hook, or with hook placed horizontally, or with hook pierced in an upward direction (ie. the point end of the hook comes out the top hole; the hook is inserted from bottom to top).
PSYCHOLOGICAL & SPIRITUAL EFFECTS Prepare for both the possibility of being overwhelmed and underwhelmed. A suspension or pull can be a life changing experience in that the individual will be attaining a feat that, to man, might seem impossible. Then again, you might just hang/pull from hooks. It is an extraordinary experience to be suspended/pulled, and once you are done you will be high from the experience. This can last anywhere from a day or two to a week, but at some point there is the coming down and it is inevitable that this will happen. For many, an awakening may have occurred and when you come down from the initial high you maybe out of sync with a reality that was opened while suspending/pulling versus the reality we all share. There are no grave dangers afterwards when performed in the right settings and if you find yourself feeling really down after suspending it would be wise to share your feelings with others experienced in suspensions and energy hook pulls. It should be noted that due to the complexity and somewhat overwhelming task of interpreting the experience, you may not feel the spiritual or psychological effect until weeks afterwards when it hits you like a ton of bricks. In addition, understand that the normal rules of time may not apply.. dont be surprised when if a fifteen second suspension/pull gives you what seems like hours and hours of experience to interpret.

EMBRACING THE 10 PRINCIPLES OF BURNING MAN Radical Inclusion We welcome and respect the stranger. No prerequisites exist for participation in our community. Gifting The value of a gift is unconditional. Gifting does not contemplate a return or an exchange for something of equal value. Decommodification In order to preserve the spirit of gifting, our community seeks to create social environments that are unmediated by commercial sponsorships, transactions, or advertising. We stand ready to protect our culture from such exploitation. We resist the substitution of consumption for participatory experience. Radical Self-reliance Encourage the individual to discover, exercise and rely on his or her inner resources. Radical Self-expression Radical self-expression arises from the unique gifts of the individual. No one other than the individual or a collaborating group can determine its content. It is offered as a gift to others. In this spirit, the giver should respect the rights and liberties of the recipient. Communal Effort Our community values creative cooperation and collaboration. We strive to produce, promote and protect social networks, public spaces, works of art, and methods of communication that support such interaction. Civic Responsibility We value civil society. Community members who organize events should assume responsibility for public welfare and endeavor to communicate civic responsibilities to participants. They must also assume responsibility for conducting events in accordance with local, state and federal laws. Leaving No Trace Our community respects the environment. We are committed to leaving no physical trace of our activities wherever we gather. We clean up after ourselves and endeavor, whenever possible, to leave such places in a better state than when we found them. Pack-In & Pack-out. Participation Our community is committed to a radically participatory ethic. We believe that transformative change, whether in the individual or in society, can occur only through the medium of deeply personal participation. We achieve being through doing. Everyone is invited to work. Everyone is invited to play. We make the world real through actions that open the heart. Immediacy Immediate experience is, in many ways, the most important touchstone of value in our culture. We seek to overcome barriers that stand between us and a recognition of our inner selves, the reality of those around us, participation in society, and contact with a natural world exceeding human powers. No idea can substitute for this experience.
