Family Music Workshop: The Blue Boy Blues
Join master teaching artist Beth Sussman for an interactive music workshop that'll have you singin' the blues. Learn about the origins of the blues in African music traditions, perform a classic blues song, and create your own verses about Gainsboroughs Blue Boy in the blues style. No prior musical experience necessary. Ages 10 and up. Fee includes one accompanying adult-child must be accompanied by an adult.
Class is held in Rothenberg Hall. Visit any admission window for directions to Rothenberg Hall for check-in at 12:45 p.m.
