LP Project: Susanne Gerry | Seth Warner and the Old Souls Live Performance of Carole King's "Tapestry"
The Portland, Maine based Susanne Gerry | Seth Warner and the Old Souls will present a complete live performance of Carole Kings 1971 record Tapestry at The Dance Hall, 7 Walker Street, Kittery, Maine on Saturday, November 17th @ 7:30pm.

Featuring some of her generations best loved songs including Natural Woman and I Feel
The Earth Move and Youve Got A Friend  Carole Kings second LP as a solo artist catapulted her status as a masterful and definitive voice of the singer-songwriter movement. Already established by the mid 60s as prolific and effective New York based writer for hire with hits for Aretha Franklin, The Drifters, The Monkees and The Shirelles  King moved to Los Angeles in 1968 and found new inspiration in the L.A. scene and especially with her Laurel Canyon neighbors James Taylor and Joni Mitchell. Early on she helped form the band The City and worked as a session musician playing piano on B.B. Kings album Indianola Mississippi Seeds.

Starting in 2015, Seth Warner has led an annual series of LP project evenings at The Dance Hall where he has assembled a collective of musicians to perform and celebrate record albums of unusual merit, historical significance and above all else - great music. The albums presented so far have ranged from a trio of incredibly strong sophomore releases in Back to Black by Amy Winehouse - which featured the phenomenal Maine based singer, Stephanie Fogg - the brilliant yet eclectic Pontiac by Lyle Lovett and The Bands self-titled second album which is known as The Brown Album. Seth and his band have also performed Jackson Brownes Running on Empty and Neil Youngs masterpiece Tonights the Night which dealt with the addiction related deaths of his close friends and bandmates with equal parts of grief, grit and humor.

Susanne Gerry and Seth Warner their band The Old Souls will start the evening with an acoustic set of original music along with a selection of material from the early 70s that shares much with in common with the time and place that produced Tapestry.

Following a set break, the full band will return to the stage and finish the evening with a complete performance of Tapestry. The band includes the guitarist Andy Argondizza, drummer Marty Joyce, keyboard Mark Napoleone and bassist David Thibodeau and.

Susanne Gerry & Seth Warner join forces to bring their "Old Souls" Duo and All-Star Band to audiences throughout New England and beyond. Crafting transcendent performances that combine the elements of timeless songs, flowing harmonies and acoustic guitar. Based in Portland, Maine, both Susanne and Seth are active as soloists, collaborators and producers in that city and the regions vibrant music scene. Susanne Gerry is highly regarded as vocalist that can inhabit, elevate and deliver any line with equal amounts of beauty, verve and humanity: "Singing carries me along, and encourages me every single day. In a time where everything feels so uncertain, music continues to be the most beautiful and certain thing in my life. I can sing to make things better. This much I know is true." The consummate collaborator, singer and guitarist Seth Warner is always seeking to discover new ways to connect and share the power of music and to deliver an undeniably satisfying and enjoyable live performance experience. This captivating duo started out with a shared appreciation for the music of the 70's and the singer-songwriter era and their selections have expanded to include originals, traditional folk and blues and standards from the American songbook.
