The Buzz Factory Presents: Work Drugs with Revolution, I love You and Kind of Creatures
Join us for the second of a regular concert series at the Buzz Ware Village Center in Arden. We'll be featuring established Delaware acts performing with big artists from beyond the state's borders. Each month we'll also tap a "buzz-worthy" newcomer to open the show. Here's this month's line up:
Work Drugs http://workdrugs.wordpress.com/
Work Drugs is a sedative-wave / smooth-fi group from an abandoned pier on the banks of the Delaware River in beautiful Philadelphia, PA.
Work Drugs makes music specifically for boating, sexting, dancing, yachting, and living.
Work Drugs is Benjamin Louisiana (more instrumental/less vocal) and Thomas Crystal (more vocal/less instrumental).
Revolution, I Love You http://www.revolutioniloveyou.com/
Revolution, I Love You is an electro indie rock duo, originally from Delaware, and now based in Philadelphia, PA. They have toured the US east coast with German rock band Pandora's Bliss (produced by Jason Rubal), opened for Grandfather (featured on the TV series Dexter), and recently signed a sync licensing deal with London-based A&G Sync and a college booking deal with HeyCole Presents.
R,ILY culls elements from across the pop spectrum, including gritty indie rock guitars, dance and hip hop beats, dramatic choruses, loops, and synthesizers, and uses them to strange and somewhat psychedelic effect. Origivation Magazine called Revolution, I Love You "deconstructed pop musicCostello and The Boss and Phil Spector sucked through a rusty filter of industrialized, hipster dance music."
Kind of Creatures
Gargage rock trio Kind of Creatures is the new buzz band in Delaware. Their gritty sound conjures The Strokes from their early days and features the super talented Grace Koon (ex - A New Dakota) on vocals and guitar.
