Paint outside in the fresh air - inside our very own natural preserve and historic landmark at our Young Masters Art Class on Saturday September 29th from 1:30pm-3:30pm at the Reservoir. Students ages 7-12 welcome. Supplies provided. Cost: FREE! Taught by Kristin DeAngelis, Gallerist, Curator and Art Educator of 107 Bowers Gallery and ArtSpace right here in the Heights.
Parents must accompany their kids. Please bring something to sit on, like a blanket or a camp chair. There are insects like bees and mosquitos, poison ivy (though we try to stay way from that), potential allergens, mud and water. Bathrooms are not located directly on site, but are available in Pershing Field. And, the site is not yet fully accessible. There are some stairs and uneven or rocky pathways, so please wear sneakers. Waivers will be required. Space is limited so please don't wait to register!
Cancellation possible due to rainy weather or wet & muddy site conditions.
We will meet at the Red Gate, corner of Summit Ave. and Pershing Field Plaza, across from the Charlie Heger Ice Rink in Pershing Field.
