The NIGHTMARE EMPORIUM is a Seattle-based anthology of short horror films in the spirit of 'Tales from the Crypt' and 'Creepshow'.

Every Halloween season, the mysterious and sinister Shopkeeper amuses himself by satisfying your thirst for the macabre - presenting a glimpse into the bizarre and terrifying history of a few of the items in his curiosity shop, aka 'The Nightmare Emporium.'

Each year, (mostly) local filmmakers choose an artifact from among the many oddities that haunt the shelves of the Nightmare Emporium. They're tasked with creating a short film recounting the horrific stories in which their object once played a key part. Other than a few lines of introduction, each filmmaker has full creative freedom to tell the story she/he wishes to tell.

In our second year, our participating filmmakers have TRIPLED in number!

Each of our thirteen objects has been chosen by several filmmakers; these films will screen on one of three consecutive evenings, as part of its own antholog, in the nights before Halloween.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28th
We kick off with Anthology One at the venue first brave enough to host us at last year's premiere:

-Central Cinema, 7:00 PM; and 9:30 PM.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 29th
Anthology Two screens at TWO venues in the same evening, and is our inaugural screening at Northwest Film Forum!

-Northwest Film Forum, October 29th, 7:00 PM
-Central Cinema, October 29th 9:30 PM

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30th
Anthology Three screens exclusively at:

-Northwest Film Forum, October 30th, 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM.
