Tech Ninja: Costuming and Sewing for Stage
Have you ever wondered what goes into making a show look great? What about how your favorite characters costumes are made? If so, this is the class for you! In this class you will learn the basics of sewing and costume design and will help to design and create the costumes to make our shows look amazing! Level: Heroes and Legends. Instructors: Meeja Day: Wednesdays Block: 2 Time: 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm Weeks: 6 Start and end date: November 14 - December 19 Location: Back Room of Pendulum Space in North Center (1803 W. Byron St. #216, Chicago, IL 60613) Min/max: 3/6 (NOTE: There is a HARD CAP at 6 in this class) Notes: Please note cap. Some buying of personal supplies necessary. This class requires real focus. Only mature heroes and legends suggested. If you have a sewing machine at home you will likely be asked to bring it. Costume Design students will be asked to be backstage Crew for our show Dr. Who and the Weeping Christmas Angels
