Sunnyside Impressions by Amy E. Witting
On October 14th, 2018, Peter's Impressions, a salon in the neighborhood of Sunnyside, Queens is celebrating forty years of being in operation. In honor of this milestone playwright, Amy E. Witting, created the original interview based play Sunnyside Impressions to mark this occasion.
As both a playwright, and current client of the Salon, Amy has been gathering stories over the last few months to create an original play that captures the history of the neighborhood through the salon that has seen it all.
The one day celebration will feature performances of the play with six actors, photographs, food, and celebration.
