The Rural Kings at The Old Feed Store

The Old Feed Store welcomes back The Rural Kings Sunday, April 21st, from 5 to 8! Their new CD, Dandelions features a great blend of great Americana, folk and Bluegrass to the stage!

Dandelions is a labor of love from Mila Maring (vocals, accordion), Kelley Sims (guitar, mandolin, vocals), Geoff Maring (upright bass, vocals), John Beck (mandolin, fiddle, vocals), Josh Morrisen (banjo, guitar, vocals) and Tobias Merriman (vocals, fiddle, mandolin) A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this cd will support Pet Rescue!

The Rural Kings are a local quintet featuring a mix of bluegrass, originals, swing, and Americana material, as well as lead vocals from all members of the band. The Rural Kings' members are no strangers to the Southern Illinois music scene and collectively have played with Etherton Switch, Shady Mix, The Woodbox Gang, and the Giant City Slickers, among other bands. Expect a special guest or two to join them on stage!
