Winter Formal: Victory Ball!

This Veterans Day marks the 100th Anniversary of the end of the Great War. In tribute, this year's theme for the GBVS Winter Formal is the November 1918 celebration following the Armistice announcement!

This event will be held in the magnificent 1886 Stevens Estate of North Andover. The estate will be decorated for the special occasion and will transport you to another time! Guests will have full access to both floors of the beautiful and period intact interior. See photos at www.stevensestate.com.

The evening's main entertainment features the Wolverine Jazz Band of Boston! This adept group of musicians will thrill you with their vast knowledge of ragtime hits. Plus you'll be ready to hit the dance floor after attending an included dance lesson. Hors d'oeuvres are provided and there will be a cash bar available. Vintage dress encouraged; the theme is "white-tie" formal wear of 1918. Modern day formal wear or suits are welcome, consult our website for info about vintage clothing www.bostonvintage.org.

The Stevens Estate is only 30-minutes from Boston and is close to routes 93 and 495. Plenty of free parking is on site and the estate is handicap accessible.
