Ladybirds - An Evening with Durham's Jazz Ladies

The Ladybirds are an all-female multicultural jazz collective of friends and fellow North Carolina Central University Jazz Studies students. Each member of the collective is not only a performer, but an jazz educator and arranger. Brought together by their musical studies at NCCU, the collective strives to acknowledge, raise awareness of, and celebrate all female performers in the Durham jazz community. Featuring the talents of Anna Rose Beck (vocals), Lynette Boschulte (saxophone), Jasmine Best (drums), Lydia Salett Dudley (piano/vocals), Billie Feather (guitar), Zoë C. Harris (trumpet), Ginnae Koon (bass), and Autumn Rainey (vocals) each Ladybird will perform their own arrangements of personal compositions and jazz standards. Join us for a night of celebrating all women in jazz within the Durham music community.
