Monday Finals
Welcome to a new kind of slam. Bowery Poetry is proud to present Monday Finals - a college slam geared towards student collegiate slammers hosted by Eduardo Pulgar
There are slam venues all over the city, but for many college slammers, Universities are where all their slamming happens. We aim to change that by bringing college Slammers and their work to a new platform that is just for them. We are employing Grudge Slam rules, where we do away with the points, and leave all the love and the clapping for all the poets. There will be prefixed pairings of the contestants, American Idol style judging, and the judges will use colored paddles to choose a winner of every bout in lieu of points.
