FAT Footloose Release Party with Meet & Greet!
FINALLY!! After years of public demand FAT is releasing Footloose on CD and in digital format along with bonus tracks of FAT classics and fan favorites When Will I Meet You and All Boxed In.
In 1975, years before it was in vogue, FAT released the indie record Footloose on their own Dream Merchant record label. Strong sales in Springfield, Boston, Worcester, Pittsfield and Hartford caught the eye of rock promoters Shelley Finkel and Jim Koplik (of Watkins Glen fame) who became the bands management team and steered them to a record deal with Atlantic Records produced by Felix Pappalardi (Cream, Mountain). Fans have been begging the band to convert the classic vinyl to cd and digital. It is finally happening as part of FAT 50!
MEET AND GREET: Halfway through their 50th anniversary tour and celebration FAT wants to spend some quality time with their fans so they will gather for an hour before the concert to socialize and sign autographs for those who want them.
CONCERT: FAT has had a number of great concerts this summer but most of them have been too short!! Those of you who follow FAT know 1. They have a lot of songs..good songs.and 2. FAT loves to play and a one hour set is not enough to satisfy the band or its fans. The concert will be 3-4 hours of solid FAT music delivered the same way it was in 19681978..1988.1998..2008..we are not done yet!
