Seattle Peace Chorus 2018/19 Season Pass
The Seattle Peace Chorus 2018/19 season passes are your best value, compared to buying separate tickets for the Fall and Spring concerts. They also give you great flexibility: you can choose which performance of each show you wish to attend, and make changes as necessary should your plans change. All this with no additional charges or fees!
A "Season pass" gives you: 1 ticket for Fall, 1 ticket for Spring for 35.00 (a savings of 21% for 2 non-season tickets).
IMPORTANT: During checkout we ask you which dates you prefer for our Fall and Spring concerts. This option is not available on Brown Paper Ticket's mobile website, so use their standard website. To update us on your preferred dates, email us at info@seattlepeacechorus.org.

This Fall we present Music Crosses Borders, a magnificent assortment of music that focuses on how we as a society treat the foreigner, the stranger, and the immigrant. With this music we will honor the diversity of culture brought to our shores by each new wave of people. We present songs from many of the immigrant cultures that have been affected by the poor treatment of our fellow human beings at our borders and by harsh immigration policies that have sown fear and discord among our friends around the world.

In Spring, we present the monumental Canto General, a setting of 12 poems by the Chilean Nobel laureate Pablo Neruda to music by Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis. The composer fled to Chile from the totalitarian rule of Greece in 1971 and was a guest of Chilean president Salvador Allende and Pablo Neruda. He was so touched by the warmth of the Chilean people that he composed this work to honor them and his friend Pablo Neruda. Scored for guitars, flutes, bass, and percussion, this masterpiece conveys a soaring message of compassion and beauty.
