Stanley Brinks (of Herman Dune) & Freschard at Tchai Ovna
Kids can go free if they can sit on your lap!
Stanley Brinks sets the bar high when it comes to artistic independence, freedom, tradition and avoiding fashionable trends. In 2006, André (Stanley) left his band, Herman Düne. Now based in Berlin he releases timeless albums, playing them live in small venues and private apartments where he can remain true to his musical ideals.
Freschard grew up on a farm in French Burgundy. She started organizing shows in the barn when she was about 12 years old. Aged 18 she moved to Paris where a local musician and regular customer called André Herman Dune wrote a few songs for her to sing. She then moved to New York where she found an old electric guitar and started writing her own songs.
Randolph's Leap is the project of Adam Ross who will grace us with his solo presence. Currently with an EP available called "Hermit". "Truly invincible and with magical powersthis group might just conquer the world" - Duglas T Stewart (BMX Bandits)
Mike Hastings is a long-standing fixture in Glasgow's acoustic music scene. As well as his exceptional solo projects he's a member of prog-folk quartet Trembling Bells and regularly performs with The Incredible String Band's Mike Heron.
Enjoy!
