UUCB Concerts for a Cause: PAT COLWELL AND THE SOUL SENSATIONS
Former Speaker of the House, Pat Colwell will bring his 8-piece band, the Soul Sensations to the UU Church on February 2nd to perform a powerful mix of Motown and Memphis Soul. This is a 100% Old School R&B Revue complete with female backup singers, a full horn section, and a show that that will knock your socks off. The band covers soul classics from Sam and Dave, the Supremes, Wilson Pickett, Marvin Gaye, the Temptations, the Staple Singers and Aretha Franklin. They also provide a wealth of original R&B music to their sets. Pat Colwell and the Soul Sensations have been featured at the Brunswick Arts Festival, the Maine Blues Festival and the Harpswell Summer Concert Series, as well as their annual Christmas show at the Chocolate Church. Most recently they performed at Governor Janet Mills inaugural ball.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door, Students/Children: $8. Also vailable at the church office and Gulf of Maine Books in Brunswick.
Two-thirds of the net proceeds of the 2018-2019 Concerts for a Cause series will be donated to two local charities: The Gathering Place and The Brunswick Teen Center.
