KNKX Connects to Bellingham
KNKX Connects to Bellingham on October 11 with a live broadcast of All Things Considered from the Mount Baker Theatre hosted by Ed Ronco, followed by a community forum. This is the third installment in KNKXs year-long regional reporting project which is designed to increase local and regional news coverage and expand the station's role in communities across Western Washington. The goal is to present deep, rich storytelling and live broadcasts from these communities on a regular basis. KNKX Connects will take advantage of the station's large broadcast footprint, which extends from Victoria, B.C. to Vancouver, Washington.
A live broadcast of All Things Considered with host Ed Ronco will begin at 3 p.m. in the Harold and Irene Walton Theatre. At 5:30 p.m. KNKX will present a dynamic live, on-air program featuring Ed, KNKX reporters and people from the community. The event is free and open to the public. Come be a part of live radio! The public is also invited to drop by starting at 3 p.m., to visit and watch as All Things Considered is broadcast live.
In order for us to get an idea of how many people are planning to attend the forum beginning at 5:30 p.m., please register for the event.
