Backhausdance at the Knoebel
Backhausdance just finished a milestone 15th anniversary season that included its first European tour and an engagement at the internationally renowned Joyce Theater. This season, the companys focus is on an invigorating balance of leading-edge new works and revitalized classics!
Join Orange Countys critically acclaimed contemporary dance company as it kicks off its 16th season November 2nd and 3rd, 2018. The program will feature two signature works by Artistic Director Jennifer Backhaus, emphasizing the company's ensemble aesthetic and lush movement vocabulary, and world premieres by internationally renown guest choreographers Mauro Astolfi of Rome, Italy, and Jhonathan Soutchy, based in Tel Aviv, Israel.
