Summer Days: Kayak the Reservoir
Spend the day kayaking at Jersey City's 13 acre open air reservoir.
While you're there, stop by the Jersey City Reservoir Preservation
Alliance's tent to learn about the history of the Reservoir and future plans for the site, sign up for a JCRPA membership or purchase a T shirt in support, and to learn about volunteer opportunities to help make this community resource the best it can be.
Tickets:
There are 8 kayak sessions, occurring every 30 minutes. One ticket is available for each kayak, and is priced at $5 per seat in the kayak. Price covers the cost of insurance. Additional kayaks will be available on a limited basis for walk-ins- we highly recommend reserving your spot online.
Waivers:
Each rider will need to sign a waiver with the American Canoe Association. Attendees may not go out on the water without having filled one out. We strongly encourage attendees to download, print, and sign the relevant adult or minor registrant waiver in advance (link below) to save time waiting in line. Please arrive at least 15 minute prior to your scheduled slot time to get set up.
