Co-Creating Self Care: Animals & Self Care
Self care is talked about a lot these days, and for some of us our animal friends are a primary part of our self care routine. Understandably, we may look to our animal companions for support and comfort, but how could we meet them in a mutually supportive way? How could this care be used to strengthen our connection?
Having connection time with animals can be so fulfilling. If I have been out all day, my dog friends are the first ones to greet me tails wagging! It brings me so much joy! But lately Ive noticed that our connection time primary consists of dog walks and cuddling on the couch watching television. That may feel good for me, but is that fulfilling for them? Im not exactly present with them when I am watching television! A lot of articles I found talked about how animals are a great way to slow down, care for ourselves, and help us be in the moment, but what about their needs? We are often so focused on our needs, it is easy to forget to check in with your animal companions needs.
In this workshop you will learn ways to co-create self care practices for you and the animals in your life. You will learn some easy magical techniques to help your animals with their energetic bodies, as well as some flower and gem essence support for common imbalances, and these tools can easily be used for yourself as well!
(Please bring a printed image of your animal companion/s, not their beautiful physical selves for this workshop)
