Goddess Lakshmi LIVE at The Harlem Flophouse
Harlem's Indy rockers Goddess Lakshmi have been thrilling audiences since 2011 at Paris Blues, The Harlem Flophouse and on tour. They have recorded 4 albums, received airplay on 200+ terrestrial radio stations and have been interviewed and played live on-air numerous times. They are known for their eclectic blues based soulful repertoire. The ensemble features Rene Calvo, composer, guitarist, Jarrett Walser, drums, Leo Smith on bass and vocalist The Sublime Ms. Kosi.
The Harlem Flophouse, built in the 1890s, has been in continuous operation as a flophouse since 1917. Lovingly restored by artist/musician Rene Calvo it has garnered a world wide reputation for it's unique beauty and character. It has been the site of numerous photo shoots, TV and film productions.
