Times Two Series: Hinge x Household Objects
Lying somewhere between a chamber ensemble and a band, Hinge is a brand new contemporary music ensemble comprised of four all-stars of the Boston new music scene: saxophonist Philipp Stäudlin, percussionist Matt Sharrock, pianist Keith Kirchoff, and electric guitarist/band leader Dan VanHassel. Hinge presents a diverse blend of works from contemporary composers Philippe Hurel, Louis Andriessen, Chaya Czernowin, and Erin Gee, as well as arrangements of songs by Bjork and Meshuggah.
