David Ambrosio/Russ Meissner Quartet
David Ambrosio/Russ Meissner Quartet The duos fluidity in navigating meters and seamless transitions informs the engaging, shimmering sound of Moments In Time. Meissner and Ambrosio ably bridge the poles, keeping things open yet grounded, probing yet cohesive. Their "Ill finish your sentence simpatico" bolsters the ensemble and soloists with a breathing, yet commanding, pulse. - Jeff Potter, DOWNBEAT
