A cultural retrospective of a turbulent decade. Faculty presents the music of Aaron Copland, Samuel Barber, and acoustic folk music of the depression era. Make chocolate chip cookiesinvented in 1938using the original recipe. Enjoy an art lesson on Art Deco and Art Moderne styles, and revel in the sounds of an authentic big band, complete with swing dancing instruction.
