The Northman Chicago River Cider Cruise
Join us at our newest location, The Northman Beer & Cider Garden along the Chicago Riverwalk for a special Cider Cruise aboard "Chicago's Classic Lady" (part of Chicago's First Lady Fleet). There will be numerous producers sampling cider around the boat, as well as hors d'oeuvres from The Northman, gourmet sausages from Chef Martin and desserts by Matthew Schreiner of Barca Chocolate. During the 2 hour cruise, we will also host a few short talks on the history of cider, as well as an experienced guide telling us all about the architechtural history along the Chicago River.
Tickets covers the architectural cruise itself, as well as all of the food and all of the cider during the cruise. Ciders served throughout the cruise poured by our cider partners, including a wide variety from:
Original Sin, Blakes, Virtue, Right Bee, Stem Ciders, 2 Towns, Uncle Johns, Seattle Cider, The Northman, Aspall, EZ Orchards, Farnum Hill, Pacific Coast, and a selection of European ciders from B. United Imports.
The new Northman location is just east of Michigan Avenue Bridge, along the South bank of the river (between Michigan and Columbus Drive). The boat departs at 7pm from Chicago's First Lady boat launch (112 E. Wacker Drive), directly next door to The Northman Beer & Cider Garden. The cruise will last around 2 hours, and we will return to the dock about 9pm; but guests are invited to stay aboard and enjoy cider up until 9:45pm!
TICKET SALES THRU Brown Paper Tickets END AT 5pm TODAY. You can purchase tickets at our Riverwalk location up until 6pm tonight (one hour before boat leaves).
