Where the Brahmaputra meets the Mississippi - 2018
We are organizing our annual fundraising event Where the Brahmaputra meets the Mississippi (WBMM, 2018), which symbolizes the confluence of cultures. The mighty river Brahmaputra flows through Assam, India, a state known for its beauty, rich history and culture. The majestic Mississippi flows through the heart of Minnesota, known as one of the cultural and literary centers of the West.
We have two main goals for fundraising. One is to create awareness by interfacing with local and global people. The other is to raise funds for STEM education. The proceeds from this fundraiser will go into organizing teacher training workshops as well as organizing science and math camps.
Your support to this event will go a long way in impacting the lives of people with great talents and skills but little to no opportunity without our help.
