Synopsis
SMOKEY & THE BANDIT is Hal Needham's crazy buddy tale of Bandit (Burt Reynolds) and Cledus (Jerry Reed), two truck-driving southerners who are hired to run a tractor trailer full of beer over state lines, all while in constant hot pursuit by pesky Sheriff Buford T. Justice of Portague County (Jackie Gleason).
