4th Annual Johnson Creek Science Symposium
Come hear academic researchers and watershed practitioners present their work in Johnson Creek from the past year.
Held again this year in the Performing Arts Building in Reed College, academics, public agency and non-profit staff will present on such topics as the impact of beavers on water temperature, stream suspended sediment dynamics, monitoring for legacy landfill pollutants, impacts of proximity to the floodplain on real estate values, and more.
This event will be held on Tuesday, October 16, from 1-5 p.m., and during a 25 minute break will be a poster session and refreshments.
