Michael Meade - Soul of Change
Join Michael Meade for an inspiring Saturday workshop

Saturday Oct 13: Soul of Change

Soul involves both the ancient presence of life and its most immediate spontaneous manifestations. Soul is the hidden glue of the world, the touch of Eros, the Intimacy of Things. Soul is the mysterious hidden connection between all things. Soul provides the roots in "grass root" movements and the inner unity in any meaningful community. When things turn dark and difficult the soul turns to mining old wisdom while making new forms of community.

Trouble can precipitate soul-making, even provoking new connections between culture and nature, between your individual soul and the Soul of the World. in times of trouble and loss we can discover what is truly ours, what lives in our soul and cannot be taken from us. When all seems lost, the things that are most essentially ours can be found again.

About: Michael Meade, D.H.L., is a renowned storyteller, author, and scholar of mythology, anthropology, and psychology. He combines hypnotic storytelling, street-savvy perceptiveness, and spellbinding interpretations of ancient myths with a deep knowledge of cross-cultural rituals. He has an unusual ability to distill and synthesize these disciplines, tapping into ancestral sources of wisdom and connecting them to the stories we are living today

He is the author of The Genius Myth, Fate and Destiny: The Two Agreements of The Soul, Why the World Doesn't End, The Water of Life: Initiation and the Tempering of the Soul; editor, with James Hillman and Robert Bly, of Rag and Bone Shop of the Heart; and editor of Crossroads: A Quest for Contemporary Rites of Passage. Meade is the founder of Mosaic Multicultural Foundation, a nonprofit network of artist, activists, and community builders that encourages greater understanding between diverse peoples.
