Shabbat Project International welcomes you to our global, grassroots movement!  

Our idea is simple: Jews from all walks of life, from across the spectrum of religious affiliation, young and old, from all corners of the world- come together to experience the magic of one full Shabbat kept together.  It's our opportunity to renew family and community life, restore Jewish identity, and unite Jews across the globe.

On Thursday night, Chicagoland mothers, daughters, sisters, bubbies, aunts and friends join together with women around the world to learn our tradition of making Challah. Each participant leaves with her braided Challot in pans ready to bake at home. They also leave with a greater sense of Jewish Community, pride in the strength and beauty of a Jewish women and a stronger connection with her Jewish heritage.

It's about creating a new Jewish future together!
