Team Trivia event for fun and fundraising. Teams of up to 8 people will compete for the coveted "Brightest Bulb" award. An enjoyable night for all, with entertaining & clever trivia questions, and all answers given as a team.
$60 individual, $480 for teams up to 8 people
Create and name your own team of 8 with co-workers, friends or family, or let us know if you are looking for a team. Your chance to help keep the George Wiley Center's work going, while spending an enjoyable evening together!
Raffle tickets will be available for a variety of prizes.
We are excited to announce, Carol Shelton, long time advocate and educator for social justice, will host the competition for the "Brightest Bulb" award.
Entry include snacks all night and buffet dinner at the break. Cash bar will be available.
The Quiz Bowl is a night for matching wits and answering questions that are not necessarily trivial, but you don't have to play to be part of the fun.
Teams may be up to 8 people per table. Questions will be read aloud, but answers will be written on the team's answer sheet. There will be 9 rounds of 7 questions. Categories may include such topics as local history, famous quotes, toys & games, music, and "identify this face." Scorers will keep a running tally after each round and "proctors" will make sure no one whips out an iPhone. Your answers could be a bolt out of the blue or just plain nuts.
Organizational and local business sponsorships are welcome and appreciated, as are donations big and small to our raffle. Sponsorship categories all include a Quiz Bowl Team (of up to 8) and various organizational recognition:
World Series Champions Sponsorship - $2,000
Play Off Partners Sponsorship - $1,250
Hometown Heroes Sponsorship - $750
The George Wiley Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, receipts for tax purposes are provided upon request.
