Four of the piecesby Tadja Vulc, Rihards Dubra, Melissa Dunphy, and Kile Smithwill be Northwest premieres. The other half of the program features Samuel Scheidts jubilant A Child is Born in Bethlehem; Georg Schumanns chorale motet, Vom himmel hoch; Pawe ukaszewskis Ave Maria for double choir; two luminous Christmas works by Russian composer Georgy Sviridov; and the popular setting of O nata lux by Morten Lauridsen.
