Lex-Ham Community Theater presents First Lady
Lex-Ham Community Theater will present First Lady by Katharine Dayton and George Kaufman, the 1930s take on the women who really run Washington, D.C.
The play, directed by Mary Cutler, follows Lucy Chase Wayne, the granddaughter of a former President of the United States and current wife of the Secretary of State, and her rivalry with Irene Hibbard, the wife of a Supreme Court Justice, during the period when the Party is figuring out whom to nominate for the presidency during the next election.
