Mastering the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram
The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (or LBRP), a short rite devised and used by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, has been adopted as one of the most essential components of modern ceremonial occultism. This ritual is considered by many to be a basic preliminary to all further magical work. It was the only ritual, aside from the rites of initiation themselves, that was revealed to members of the Golden Dawn before their advancement to the Inner Order. In this workshop, ceremonial magician Damian Murphy and High Priestess Charly McCreary will cover the purpose, meaning, and intention of the LBRP and provide both practical and esoteric guidance for the effective performance of this central rite.
