Bang Data with special guests Qiensave also actos by Baktum 12
An evening of latin rock, cumbia, hip hop and chicano theater is coming to the Appleton Grill in Watsonville on September 29, 2018! Back from their cross country touring across the country is Oakland based Bang Data.
This beloved band is led by Deuce Eclipse and producer/instrumentalist Caipo whom together they spin cumbia, hip-hop and rock in to a new language of sound for the people. They have just released their third studio album "Loco". Their 2016 recording of "Fortunate Son" on the Creedence Clearwater Revival latin album tribute "Quiero Creedence" received a tremendous amount of tribute including accolades from the legends CCR themselves!
Qiensave is is a cumbia urbana group from the central coast of California with roots stretching back to Michoacan, Mexico. Qiensave plays a high energy dance music that shares their love of music and dance with the world. They have had the opportunity to tour through California, Mexico and Colombia. They will be performing new songs from their new album "Mujer".
Formed in 1997, Baktun12 is a collective of performance artists based in East Salinas, the Alisal, California dedicated to presenting the rawest, realest Chicano-flavored street theater, poetry and hip-hop productions.
