Make a Fusible Applique Rooster Wall Hanging with Almyra Webb
Raj is the Maharaja of roosters. He is royalty and he is the rooster with an attitude. He likes being purple and orange, but is radical enough to try any color combo you decide. This fusible appliqué pattern is very easy to assemble using the technique taught in the class. You can use wild colors and create your special, unique Raj! Your finished wall hanging would be a wonderful gift for a friend who loves Roosters! Make a beautiful Rooster applique wall hanging with no or very little sewing! A great way to use up old fabric. Almyra will take you systematically through the process.
Bring your favorite material scraps (a variety of colored scraps in dark, medium and light) and scissors!
For some of the larger pieces you will need: 3 X 7 piece for the longest feather 5 X 7.5 piece for the leg 3 X 3 piece for the comb 3 X 6 piece for the feet 2 square for the beak
The more scraps you bring to the class the more choices you will have to audition your color palette. Remember this is a Radical Rooster!
You will also need to bring the following items: - Teflon appliqué sheet approximately 13 X 17 - Steam-A-Seam II 1/2 yard - Border 1/2 yard - Background Fabric for Raj 1/2 yard - Backing and Binding Fabric 1/2 yard - Batting 22 X 28
