Healthcare 101: The Guidelines
This course is a comprehensive introduction to the FGI guidelines for the emerging professional healthcare architect or medical planner. The course will emphasize the structure of the code and how to apply the relevant sections to specific building types rather than repetition of document content. The course will cover the commonly referenced hospital sections but will also contrast the requirements against the (often misunderstood) outpatient requirements. Finally, the course will provide context for evolving building types and expected changes in the near future.
