Improv For Bad Bitches (with Future Wives)
TBC Improv - Edinburgh's own improv comedy theatre - are excited to welcome Future Wives (NYC) for this special invited teacher workshop!
Overview:
As female improvisers in the male-dominated New York comedy scene, Future Wives understands how easy and common it is for women to feel brushed aside or steamrolled in scenes. Weve created a workshop for female improvisers that strengthens skills and builds confidence to remind participants that everyone in every scene can make the same amount of choices. This workshop focuses on following your gut, getting out of your head and having as much fun as possible on stage.

About Future Wives:
Future Wives is a New York based, super-silly, comedy trio who understand that life is a balancing act between comedy and slumber parties. The group features performers Kelsey McLaughlin, Kelsey Bailey, and Sophie Yalkezian, all individually house players at Upright Citizens Brigade. Future Wives tours various cities and colleges doing shows and teaching workshops, including a class geared towards women building confidence on stage. We were headlining acts in The Boston Comedy Festival and the Women in Comedy Festival. Their writing and performing has been featured in various outlets and TV shows.

Since its inception, TBC Improv has had three main goals:
1 - To perform the improvised comedy they love so much;
2 - To share that love of the improvised comedy form;
3 - To help cultivate an improv scene in Scotland where numerous groups can perform and teach improv comedy regularly
