Tom Thomson: Music & Mystery
This evening features The Algonquin Ensemble performing music from their Sonic Palette CD (created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Tom Thomson); Storytelling by author Geoff Taylor (Tom Thomson's Last Bonfire; a full library art exhibit featuring a variety of local talent - all works inspired by Tom Thomson. There will be the opportunity to vote on your favourite work and some fantastic prize packs will be up for grabs. The intermission will have wine & cheese and there will be a cash bar to round out the evening.
Doors open at 7pm. Event begins at 7:30. There will be an intermission during which attendees will be able to browse the art work and purchase refreshments from the bar.
Tickets are limited. Get yours early and don't be disappointed.
All proceeds from this event will be used to enhance adult programming at the library.
