The REvolve Series: Beyond the Curtain
Theatre Evolve presents a new works festival of staged readings and short plays all exploring the theme of "Beyond the Curtain".
The first staged reading is "Mayerling" by Alexandra Ranieri and directed by Michael Dalberg on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 7PM-9PM.
The second staged reading is "Bettering an Already Better You" by Lauren Wimmer and directed by Becca Holloway on Friday September 7, 2018 from 7PM-9PM.
We conclude the series with 7 short plays on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 3PM-5PM. "The Volitive Effect of Oral Literary Inundation on the LSTM Recurrent Neural Network" by Richard Lyons Conlon is directed by Jacob Mundell. "Something Profound" by Emily Hageman is directed by Taylor Pasche. "Sit Down!" by Phil Darg is directd by Abby Walburn. "PIP" by Briyana D. Clarel is directed by Christina Casano. "Wata Daughters" by Asia Nichols is directed by Iris Sowlat. "What's Best for Middletown" by Susan Goodell is directed by Julia Germeroth. "For the Love" of Noodles" by Joe Starzyk is directed by Anna Troy.
All of the events are free with a suggested donation of $5 payable online or in cash at the door. The series will be held at the Berger Park Cultural Center at 6205 N Sheridan Rd.
