As a Principal of CMG Landscape Architecture, Jamie Phillips has led and participated in many of the firms largest and most complex projects. She specializes in stormwater treatment and natural systems, and believes in the social and environmental responsibility inherent in design. She enjoys projects with a defined and engaged community where her work contributes to the many rather than a few. Her appreciation for design stems from her familys farm and her collegiate study at the Auburn Rural Studio, where she designed and built housing for people whose lives were decidedly improved through new shelter. In addition to her project work, Jamie is a leader in the cultural environment of the office and has a strong desire to help others improve and succeed. Some of her recent projects include Resilient by Design Challenge, Yerba Buena Island Redevelopment, Hunters Point Shipyard Hillpoint Park, and Moscone Center Expansion Open Space Design.
Jamie will share several of CMG's projects and discuss the design and implementation process behind their work.
Admission is free with your RSVP by September 26.
