Tapestry - "Starry Night"
Founded in 1995, vocal ensemble Tapestry has established an international reputation for its bold conceptual programming -- combining medieval and traditional repertory with contemporary compositions.
The ensemble has won numerous awards, including WQXR and Chamber Music America's Recording of the Year and the prestigious Echo Klassik Prize for their recording Sapphire Night.
For this exploration of the Night Sky, Tapestry brings together gorgeous music and imagery for a one-of-a-kind experience. The program will feature works by David Lang, Hildegard von Bingen, Alan Hovhanness, Claude Debussy, Ivan Moody and Patricia Van Ness.
Don't miss Tapestry's first performance of the Festival "Lessons of Darkness: Armistice Day 1918" on Thursday, November 8. Ticket packages are available!
