STARTING HERE: Songs of Richard Maltby and David Shire - with Barbara Bleier & Austin Pendleton
Austin Pendleton and Barbara Bleier showcase the work of Broadway and film lyricist, Richard Maltby, and composer David Shire, from their time as students at Yale, where they first worked with Mr. Pendleton, to their current work. The composers have been generous enough to allow Bleier and Pendleton access to their unpublished works, so there will be songs known and unknown. The show opened to critical praise in Spring of 2018 at Pangea, and is now being reprised.
