Shakespeares Tyrants in Richard III and Macbeth
Richard III exploits the chaos of a divided England; Macbeth overturns a benevolent order in Scotland. Both become tyrants; both are finally brought down. Why? This question will be discussed on successive Tuesday evenings, beginning September 25th, from 5:30-7:00 through October 23rd.

Nan Morrison is a professor emeritus of English at the College of Charleston where she taught Shakespeare and Southern Literature, wrote articles in those areas, and held the Maybelle Higgins Howe Chair.
