Ellis Paul and Hudson Valley Sally in Concert
Ellis Paul is a chronicler of history as well as his own life and times. He has been described by The New York Times as "an artist with his eye on the future and an interest in discovering the transformative potential in his music." Ellis tells his story through songs that encapsulate the essence of people and places who have helped define their era overall.
Hudson Valley Sally (Terry Colliton, John Fisher, Laurie Siegel, and Dave Tarlo) have been compared to the Weavers as they carry on the folk legacy, incorporating songs of both the past and present. Si Kahn has said of them: "They sing with a freshness that reminds us why we fell in love with folk music in the first place."
