Is There A Doctor In The House?
The West Side Players has chosen a rollicking, slapstick comedy as their next production. Many years ago a French playwright by the name of Moliere (Jean-Baptiste Poquelin) enjoyed poking fun at the medical profession. He wrote one particular play in which he featured one quack doctor and one quack pharmacist but the author, Tim Kelly, who adapted Molieres play for the modern stage, used three quack doctors. If Moliere could see this farce in a bluegrass, back-home country two act musical comedy style, he'd laugh himself silly!
